The ultra low watt density reduces the chance of lime buildup and the high performance nickel-chromium stainless steel alloy sheath resists dry firing, making it ideal for problem water areas and locations with intermittent water supply. The replacement element must be the same voltage and wattage as the element being replaced. Never exceed the nameplate rating on the water heater. The premium ultra low watt density Duron element carries a 5 year limited warranty.
